This is a summary, not a full clinical checklist. Our team will confirm eligibility and the ages we can vaccinate at the pharmacy.
Health and social care workers
Frontline staff should normally receive vaccination through their employer. Certain frontline social care workers without an employer-led scheme can use the NHS offer, including eligible care-home, home-care, voluntary hospice and personal-assistant staff. Ask us to check your circumstances.
Children and young people
There is a separate NHS children’s programme covering children aged 2 or 3 on 31 August 2026, reception to year 11, and children aged 6 months to under 18 in clinical risk groups. Some older pupils in special educational needs schools who are in a clinical risk group also qualify. GPs, school teams and participating pharmacies provide vaccinations under age- and date-specific rules. Contact us before bringing a child so we can confirm our provision or direct you to an appropriate service.
Private flu vaccinations
If you are not NHS-eligible or prefer a private appointment, ask about our chargeable flu service. We confirm age suitability, vaccine availability and the price before booking.
Before your appointment
Tell us about allergies, previous vaccine reactions, relevant health conditions and any current illness. Please call to confirm an appointment before travelling.
Your questions
Can I have flu and COVID-19 vaccinations together?
They can usually be given at the same appointment if both are suitable. Eligibility is different for each vaccine; ask us to confirm availability.
When is the NHS flu programme running?
For most adults it starts in October, with pregnant women eligible from September. Vaccinations can continue until 31 March 2027, subject to local availability.
